Masa for Tortillas | View product

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of La Finca Masa for Tortilla
  • 1 gallon of water
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 5 small cubicles of piloncillo (natural cone shaped sugar from Mexico)
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions

Boil water with cinnamon and piloncillo. Slowly stir in masa followed by condensed milk.  Continue stirring and add vanilla until atole thickens and comes to a boil (approx 15 mins).


Mixture needs to be continuously stirred, if not the atole will stick to pot and burn.
