Ingredients
- 1 pound of La Finca Masa for Tortilla
- 1 gallon of water
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 5 small cubicles of piloncillo (natural cone shaped sugar from Mexico)
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Directions
Boil water with cinnamon and piloncillo. Slowly stir in masa followed by condensed milk. Continue stirring and add vanilla until atole thickens and comes to a boil (approx 15 mins).
Mixture needs to be continuously stirred, if not the atole will stick to pot and burn.
